This blog has been created to serve as a humble resource for secondary school English teachers looking to make their spoken English activities more fun and creative. Rather than rigid and boring exercises, I aim to incorporate improvisation and games to encourage students to express themselves in English. I offer ideas and provide solutions. All activities are just a starting point. Teachers can adapt them to their needs.

STUDENT'S POLITICAL CAMPAIGN
1. THE DEBATE Present your campaign to the class and answer THREE questions from your classmates about your policies. Use conditional sentences in every answer.
2. THE ATTACK AD Write 3 slogans that a fictional opponent might use against your campaign — then write your response to each one.
3. THE INTERVIEW Work with a partner. One person is the candidate, the other is a journalist. Conduct a 5 minute interview using at least 10 conditional sentences.
4. THE VOTE After all candidates present, the class votes. The candidate with the most votes wins — and must give a 1 minute victory speech using "When I am president, I will..."
