I love it when it's time to look at the narrative texts. Scary stories are a safe bet. The problem is that we teachers find ourselves with assignments copied from the internet from start to finish. My proposal is that the essays are very guided, giving them everything and making the students take charge of constructing a story with those events. In this way, they focus on the structure, on the right tenses, and forget about the internet.
